We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2023, at the age of 97, Helen A. Murphy (Middleville, New York), born in Herkimer, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard J. Maxwell and Nora C. Maxwell (Stock); her husband Robert Edward Murphy; her siblings, Bernard, Edward Maxwell, Nora Maxwell, Beatrice Hughes, Jane Smith, Dorothy Edwards and Eileen Holleran; her sons-in-law, Robert Kelleher, Joseph Kowalewki and James FitzSimons; her grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Kelleher and Jordan Gross; and her great grandchild Joy Pagano.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Donna Murphy; her children, William Murphy (Debbie) of Fairfield, Robert Murphy (Donna) of Fairfield, Bernard Murphy of Fishkill, James Murphy (Amy) of Dolgeville, Patricia Kowalewski of Latham, Rosemary FitzSimons of Newport, Karen Kelleher of Little Falls and Joan Morris (Roy); her siblings, William Maxwell (Shirley) of Middleville, Paul Maxwell (Nancy) of Whitesboro, Rosemary Maxwell and Lois Maxwell (Bruce Doud); and her sister-law Joyce Murphy. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren (one on the way), 2 great, great grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews.
