He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Longway and Eleanor Longway (Williams); and his brother George Longway. He is survived by: his siblings, Delbert Longway (Polly) of Salisbury Center, Sandra Eckmair (Fred) of New Hartford and Ruby Longway of Newport; his sister-in-law Joan Longway of Newport; and his close friends, Ed Vogt, Wes Lynch, LeRoy Gross, Sam Smith and Don Gay. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
