With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail C. Gross of Middleville, New York, born in Herkimer, New York, who passed away on October 13, 2020 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gail C. Gross to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Rockwell and Charlotte Rockwell (Kast); her husband Warren E. "Blondie" Gross; her parents-in-law, Ruth and Glenn Gross; her brother Clifford "Skip" Rockwell; her siblings-in-law, Joyce Demchko, Wava Gross, Ginny Gross, Sandra Gross, John Gorinshek and Kale Lanphere; and her nieces and nephews, Pam, Jordan Gross, Linda Lyon and Josh Rockwell.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene Gross, Clifford "Andy" Gross of Little Falls and Daniel Gross (Charlotte) of Little Falls; her grandchildren, Daniel (Andrew) of Cassville, Caitlin and Luke of Little Falls; her siblings, Ada Gorinshek of Fairfield, Betty Lanphere of Fairfield, Marie Florian (Buck) of Fairfield and Wayne Rockwell (Sheila) of Little Falls; her siblings-in-law, Lura Rath (Raymond) of Newport, Dolly Barnes (Ron) of Dolgeville, Melvin "Bud" Gross, Richard Gross, LeRoy Gross, Dale Gross (Connie) and Edward Gross (Carole) of Coconut Creek, FL; and her close friend Cindy Smith of Richfield. She is also survived by daughter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Calling hours at the Autenrith Funeral Home, Newport, are Friday from 5 to 8 p. m. Please wear a face covering and understand that social distancing and capacity protocols will be in place due to current restrictions.
Kuyahoora Chapter #145 O.E.S. will conduct their ritualistic service at the funeral home on Friday evening at 7:45 p.m. Please omit flowers and consider memorials to the Middleville United Methodist Church or Eastern Star Home, Oriskany.
