He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Oldfield and Edna Marko (Elthorp); his wife Louise S. Crossett; his brother Donald Oldfield; his daughter Cheryl Oldfield; and his stepdaughter Theresa Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Oldfield and Daniel N. Oldfield of Fairfield; his grandchildren, William Ingersoll, Dylan Oldfield and Emma Lee Canelo; his sister Linda Owens of Deansboro; his half-brothers, William Marko of Henniker, NH and David Marko of Charlotte, NC; his siblings-in-law, Les Crossett (Charlene) of Fairfield, Larry Crossett and Judy Whitford; and his cousin Anne Hilts (Jack) of Herkimer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
