With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Turid W Tonnessen (Middletown, New York), who passed away on October 7, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Turid departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Turid. Though Turid may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ingolf Olsen and Eva Olsen; her husband Tor Tonnessen; and her sister Eva "Tulla" Søyland. She is survived by: her children, Tom Tonnessen of Bark River, MI, Scott Tonnessen and Susan Tonnessen of Milford, PA.; and her grandchildren, Ciara and Summer.
