She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Bianchi and Philomena Visca Bianchi; her husband Louis J. DeStefano, Sr.; her siblings, Julia, Joan, Assunta, Mary, Josephine and Albirerco Anthony; and her son John.
She is survived by: her children, Carmen (Lori) of New Hampton, Louis DeStefano, Jr. (Tina), Joseph (Linda) of Middletown and Maria Reisert (Shawn) of Mount Hope; her brother-in-law Mario Refari; her grandchildren, Amy, Michelle, Louis III and Michael (Marielle); her great grandchildren, Michael, Mateo and Dominic; her grandchildren, Brian (Kaitlyn) and Nicole (Michael); her great grandchildren, Rosalia and Emmanuel; her grandchild Alessandra (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Elijah and Myles; and her grandsons, Steven and Scott. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tessie's name may be made to her parish, St. Joseph's Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY 10940.
