She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche Powell (Peterson) and Wayne Powell Sr.; and her daughter Dr. Marva Jeanne Scroggins. She is survived by: her daughter Beverly Sharon Woods (Nicholas Coto); her grandchildren, Jared Scroggins of St. Louis, Andrea Ferguson (Eric) of Newburgh, Jillian Scroggins of St. Louis and Zachary Coto of Boston; and her great grandchildren, Arrow, Emilia, Sienna and River. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that when the opportunity arises, do something kind for someone.
