It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marion A. Sotelo of Middletown, New York, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph F. Sotelo; her sister Phyllis Esposito; her son Joseph M. Sotelo; and her son-in-law Herman Forde. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Forde (Jamie) and Kathleen Polanco (Tony Polanco); her grandchildren, Nicole Green (Omar), Andrea Polanco (Michael), Danielle Batule (John), Alexis Dobbs (Teron) and Justin Forde (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Amelia Green and Ace Dobbs; and her caregiver Naudrea Burton.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and at 5:00 PM at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home (130 Highland Ave, Middletown, NY 10940). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (90 Euclid Ave, Middletown, NY 10940). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (149 Cottage St, Middletown, NY 10940).
