Though Margarita Filer may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her son Malcolm; her sisters, Mary Jane Platt and Libby Harrison; and her nephews, Jeff Platt (Mary Jane) and Adam Anderson (Libby).
She is survived by: her former husband Eric Ostergaard of Erie, PA; her son Kurt Ostergaard; her nephews, Dan Platt (Mary Jane) and Joshua Anderson (Libby); her niece Jennie Anderson (Libby); and her grandchildren, Maddie Ostergaard and Hunter Ostergaard.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM and at 4:00 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church (58 North St, Middletown, NY 10940).
