Lena Rose touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Firminio Amitrano and Rosaria Amitrano; her husband Robert Nelson Schoonmaker; her daughter Rosemarie Baglia; and her siblings, Mary Kerker, Emily Love and Dominick Amitrano.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Ford, Marilyn Genter, Eileen Turi and Richard Schoonmaker; and her sister-in-law Stella Amitrano. She is also survived by many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home (130 Highland Ave, Middletown, NY 10940). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 11:45 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (149 Cottage St, Middletown, NY 10940). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery (149 Cottage St, Middletown, NY 10940).
