He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Wheeler Yerkes; his wife Anne Rushing-Yerkes; his siblings, Jerome Yerkes, Ronaldo Yerkes, Shawn Yerkes, Ronnete Whitlock, Ronita Sauers-Hamaric, Melissa Gunter and Jeffrey Yerkes; his nieces and nephews, Mark Yerkes II, Ryan, Kelly Yerkes, Shannon Yerkes, Crystal Yerkes, Sadie Yerkes, Jaren Yerkes, Joseph Colombo III and Jeffrey Yerkes II; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kodie Kinney, Sadie Kinney, Zoey Yerkes, Kendel Yerkes, Maddie Yerkes, Julianna Conklin, Riley Conklin, Jackson Yerkes, Rori Conklin, Mark Yerkes III and Joseph Columbo IV; and his cousin Lance Yerkes.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Loucks Funeral Home (79 N Main St, Ellenville, NY 12428). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
