With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerian Hunter (Middletown, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Jerian farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jerian is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Stead and Inez Thouret Stead; and her husband Alan Hunter. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Skountzos and Valerie Hunter; and her granddaughters, Martha and Eleni Skountzos. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
