She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Jenks and Emily Picton; her husband Lysander J. Thompson; her sisters, Emily and Joyce; and her siblings-in-law, Paula, Ralph, Earl and Walt.
She is survived by: her daughter Beth Roth (Michael) of Poughkeepsie; her grandchildren, Jessica Roth of Philadelphia and Brian Roth of Poughkeepsie; her siblings, Melvin "Buck" Jenks (Regina) of Tucson, AZ, John Jenks of Ennis Montana, Marie Sheehey of Tucson, AZ and Evelyn Rave of Dallas Texas; her stepson Jonathan Thompson (Kim); and her stepgrandsons, William Thompson and Matthew Thompson of Middletown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home (39 Orchard St, Walden, NY 12586). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (15 Walnut St, Walden, NY 12586). A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Union Cemetery of Mongaup Valley Starligh.
