He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Bauer and Marie Bauer (Kopal); his wife Margaret Bauer; and his siblings, Clifford Bauer and Alice Amann.
He is survived by: his children, Frederick Bauer (Nicola) of Red Creek, NY, Linda Ambrosini (Robert) of Highland Mills, NY, Marie Fraioli (Gaetano) of Smallwood, NY, Patricia Connelly (Robert) of Clayton, NC and Catherine Foley of Beach Lake, PA; his brother Robert Bauer (Molly) of Hayward, CA; and his sister-in-law Alice Bauer of Highland Mills, NY. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and by his nieces and nephews.
