In the sacred silence of farewell, David is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Hanington and Dorothea Allrich Hanington; and also Dolly Ann Hanington. He is survived by: his children, Robert Hanington (Eda) of Middletown, Cheryl Hanington Scuadroni of Texas and Matthew Hanington of Canaan, NY; and his brothers, Richard Hanington (Stephanie) of Long Island and Edward Hanington (Elaine) of New Jersey. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cornelius, Dodd & Connell Inc. Funeral Home (26 Grove St, Middletown, NY 10940).
