She was predeceased by: her parents, Audrey K. Rhymer and George E. Malone; her sister Lynette Rhymer; her nephews, Akeem and Kenyatte; and her great-niece Tia Knight.
She is survived by: her siblings, Annette Rattray, Deborah Rhymer, Delta Malone and Kenneth Rhymer; her children, Shawn Martin, Ashakii Gumbs, Knikia Gumbs and Khymo Gumbs; her daughter-in-law Katie Gumbs; her grandchildren, Tyrell Martin, Tania Martin, Z'Quan Steeps, Khyla Gumbs, Nariyah Nelson, Laniyah Nelson, Jase McGinnis, Jasiah McGinnis, Kamerah Gumbs, Khyrie Martin, Khymo Gumbs Jr. and Kassidy Martin; her nieces, Shulyn, Shirlyn, Ayanna, Sharifa and Denise; and her nephew Duane.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Martinez Morse Funeral Home (33 Railroad Ave, Middletown, NY 10940). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
