She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Mabie and John Mabie of Goshen, NY; and her husband Homer J. Boyd. She is survived by: her daughters, Renee J. Wilson and Annette H. Wilson; her grandchildren, Nicholas Wyss (Brianna) and Kasey Wyss (Austin); her great grandchild Maddison Wyss; and her brother Warren Mabie.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any animal shelter, as Carole spent much of her time at home cuddled up with her dear cat, Fiona.
