With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan F Poe (Middletown, New York), born in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Poe and Leona Poe (Shankweiler); his siblings, Edgar, Dale, Jean and Margalo; and his grandson Benjamin Blampied.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Chris Poe (David Zyla) and Jen Poe; his grandsons, Joshua Blampied (Melanie) and Allister Blampied (Vivian); and his great grandchild Genevieve.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Alan's memory to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan NY.
