He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Kmiec and Janet Kmiec. He is survived by: his family Middletown; his wife Maria Vignolesi; his children, James Conklin (Jessica), Erika Rosenberger (Michael) and AJ Kmiec (Gina); his nephew Anthony Meehan; his son-in-law Herbert Santos; his daughter Candace Santos; his grandchildren, Giovanni, Mitchel, Ethan, James, Isalena, Sebastian, Adalyn and Leandro; his sister-in-law Angelina; his nieces, Veronica and Juilianna; and his mother-in-law Bilma.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
