He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Briggs (Wagner); and his sister Peggy Dillon. He is survived by: his children, Rodney Reynolds (Susan), Victoria Steinmetz, Shawn Briggs (Kelly), Scott Briggs and Tracey Briggs (David Endza); his siblings, Jean Smith, Ed Briggs (Jerrie) and Lauren Briggs (Barb); and his nephew Douglas Burnett. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
