He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Mahnke and Eva Mahnke (Schaff); his daughter Connie Steen; and his siblings, Elizabeth Allen, Arnold Mahnke, Carl Mahnke and Arthur Mahnke.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas Mahnke and Randall Mahnke; and his stepchildren, Tammy Mahnke, Dana Mahnke and Jason Mahnke. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
