He was predeceased by: his son Daniel Crandall; and his siblings, Donald, Eleanor, Helen and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Elinor; and his children, Nancy Gorten (David) of Canandaigua, Michael Crandall of Medina, Patrick Crandall (Patricia) of Lockport and Martin Heiser (Lisa). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
