He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kroening and Frances Kroening (Leibring); his nephew Mark Westcott; and his brother-in-law Thomas Westcott. He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Kroening (Kathryn) and Marlene Westcott; his nephews, Michael, Mitchell Westcott, Kyle (Patricia) and Kurt Kroening; and his niece Karrie Farmacola (Michael).
