Daniel R. Meehan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2025, at the age of 86, Daniel R. Meehan (Middleport, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Daniel's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Meehan and Doris "Dot" Meehan; and his siblings, Carol and John. He is survived by: his children, Robert Meehan (Joni), Melissa John (Michael) and Francis Meehan (Khola). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home (38 State St, Middleport, NY 14105). The military honors was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wny National Cemetery (1254 Indian Falls Rd, Corfu, NY 14036).
