He was predeceased by: his parents, Susanna Wissert (Hebenstreib) and William R. Wissert; his wife Claudia Wissert (Walsh); his children, Deborah Wissert and William Wissert; and his siblings, Clara, Irene and William.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kelsey Wissert (Jarrod Clark) of Virginia Beach, VA, Kellen Wissert (Shaun Porter) of Middleburgh, Rachel Hess (Brandon) of Johnsonville and Travis Wissert of Middleburgh; his siblings, Robert Wissert of Huntington and Joan Gambino of Palm Dessert, CA; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Wissert of Gloversville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
