He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mildred Vollkommer (Bedell) and Jacob Vollkommer; his wife Mary Ann (Messina); his sons, Robert Vollkommer (Lois Vollkommer), Dennis Simmons (Ron Simmons) and Michael Vollkommer (Christine Vollkommer); his grandchildren, Vinny Vollkommer and Elizabeth Vollkommer; his sister Joan Wittmann (Raymond Wittmann); and his niece Patricia Palmieri.
