She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha M. Odell (Burrows) and Frederick I. Odell; and her husband Carl L. Cook. She is survived by: her children, Robert Hanford (Kathleen) of Sharon Springs, Dorothy Jones (David) of Florida, Richard Hanford of Sprakers, Donald Hanford (Debra) of Texas, Joseph Yung (Missie) of Middleburgh and Stephen Yung (Becky) of Middleburgh; her sisters, Ruby Merrill of Sidney Center, Mary Hume of Mt. Vision, Helen Wilson of Oviedo, FL and Elaine Strange of Jacksonville, NC; and also Peter Yung of Middleburgh. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
