He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Porter and Esther M. Lee Porter; his wife Patricia A. Porter; his son Scott M. Porter; and his siblings, Garry L. Porter and Carol L. Brate.
He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Porter (Christine) and Amy B. Bartlett (Heath); his grandchildren, Samantha K., Nicholas S. Porter, Lane M. and Lacey M. Bartlett; his great grandchild Porter James Bestpitch; and his brothers, David A. and Dennis R. Porter. He is also survived by his brothers, nephews, and son.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. J. Cunningham Funeral Home (4898 NY-81, Greenville, NY 12083). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
