We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2025, at the age of 89, Mirkil F. Abrams (Middleburgh, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mirkil departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mirkil. Though Mirkil may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mirkil Coakley (Firth) and Edward Coakley; her husband Kenneth Abrams; and her sister Susan Pigott. She is survived by: her children, Wendy Rutherford and Donald Abrams of Gilboa; her grandchildren, Ariel Ryan-Yung, Joseph Ryan Jr., Michael Ryan and Matthew Ryan; and her siblings, Betty Coakley Kanca, Neil Coakley and Edward Coakley, Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
