It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Vamosy of Middleburgh, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on June 2, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Margaret Stifflear (Bellinger) and Irving Stifflear; her husband Fred; her stepdaughter Kathrine Andersen; her children, Fay Smith (Ronald) and Fred "Jim" Vamosy, Jr.; her granddaughters, Olivia of Middleburgh and Chloe Smith of Middleburgh; her brother Earl Stifflear (Marilyn) of Brevard, NC; her niece Danielle Driscoll of Avon, NY; her nephews, Luke Stifflear of Hinsdale, IL and Patrick Stifflear of Avon, NY; and her stepdaughters, Susan Stancil of Lawton, Janet Hartwell of Hinesville and Georgia.
