She was predeceased by: her spouse Hon; her parents, Howard J. Nethaway and Mary Brester Nethaway; her brother Robert Nethaway; her husband Walter; her stepdaughters, Janet Snyder, Margaret Berdan and Martha Grogan; and her granddaughter Margaret Grogan Friedman.
She is survived by: her niece Karen Allen; her nephew Robert Nethaway; her sister-in-law Barbara Daring Amaral; and also, Jody Meinsma, Meg Corradino, Betsy DuPont, Jim Snyder, Walter Berdan (Buck), Len Berdan, Bill Berdan, Patti Grogan, Maggi Royle, Sue, Kati Baker and Kelli Grogan Brown. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, several cousins.
Instead, she asked that people simply perform a random act of kindness or make a contribution to the charity of their choice.
