She was predeceased by: her parents, Joan Pappas (Archambeault) and Leonard Pappas; and her son Randall Schanz. She is survived by: her husband Alfred Schanz of Middleburgh; her daughters, Erica Schanz of Troy and Lisa Schanz of Troy; her daughter-in-law Amber Schanz of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Gavin, Chase and Courtney; and her siblings, Joan Ciccarelli (Carmen) of Troy, Leonard Pappas of Watervliet and William Pappas (Jeanine) of Watervliet. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
