He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Inez Schanz (Durfee) and George W. Schanz; his children, Mary Lou Palumbo (Daniel) of Olean and Stanley Schanz of Huntersland; his grandsons, Adam Schanz (Melissa), Daniel Palumbo (Erin), Michael Palumbo and Brian Palumbo (Elizabeth); his great grandchildren, Sarah Ann Schanz, Brooke Palumbo, Trenton Palumbo, Landon Palumbo and Carter Palumbo; and his wife Daisy May Schanz (Gifford).
