We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2025, at the age of 93, Mary Taormina (Middle Village, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mary had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Mary may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Anna, Sara, Lila, Nino and Jenny; her husband Alfonso; her daughter Mary Ann; and her grandchildren, Domenic, Gabriella and Julia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Michaels Funeral Home (79-22 Metropolitan Ave, Middle Village, NY 11379). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Church (61-27 71st St, Middle Village, NY 11379). A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Cemetery (80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Flushing, NY 11379).
