Maria Requena Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Requena (Middle Village, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Maria shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Maria farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her mother Teresa Abraham. She is survived by: her father Francisco Abraham; her husband Alfred; her daughter Natasha; her granddaughter Nadia; her sister Elizabeth; and her sisters-in-law, Julia, Rose and Victoria. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Michaels Funeral Home (79-22 Metropolitan Ave, Middle Village, NY 11379). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
