He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Grasser Schaefer; his brother Otto Schaefer (Carol) of Wappingers Falls; his nieces and nephews, John Schaefer, Michael Schaefer (Drita), Laurie Kowalski (Ed), Lisa Gilmore (John), Emily, Abigail, Sabrina, Marie, Andrew, Genevieve, Tyler, Karleigh, Kourtney, Isabella and Sophia; and his friends, Joan Carlson and Susan Carlson.
