It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Lawrence Zagardo of Middle Island, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella (Mammana) and Angelo; his siblings, Vincent (Joan), Frank (Ann) and Marie Giarrusso (Joe); his niece Lori Zagardo Chavez; and also John Fields.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Leila Zagardo; his daughter Marian Morrison (Richard) of Falmouth; his grandchildren, Joseph (Molly) of Winchester and Julie Matthews (Derek) of Lowell; his great grandchildren, Haley and John Morrison; and his sister-in-law Joan Fields. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home (56 Washington St, Wellesley, MA 02481). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (9 Glen Rd, Wellesley, MA 02481).
