She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Kipp and Mary Rita Kipp (Heagerty); her brother Michael F. Kipp (Mary); and her siblings-in-law, Pauline Jones, Arlene M Jones and Elmer E. Jones, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband John A Jones; her children, Connie Clark (Fred), Theresa Jones, Christopher (Maureen) and Kevin (Heather); her grandchildren, Sarah Clark Murphy (Matthew), Lauren Clark, Anthony, Marissa Jones, Ryan, Aidan and Abigail Jones; her brothers, David, Bernie and Stephen Kipp; her nieces and nephews, Melody Wilson, Michael, Elmer Jones III, Darlene Ellis and Cindy Williams; her brother-in-law Daniel Jones; her nephew Paul Jones; her niece Danielle Foy; and also Karen.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Joan's memory to the Pember Library or the Slate Valley Museum , both in Granville, NY.
