She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberto Mathias and Gloria Mathias (Justo); and her sister Gloria M. Dekrell. She is survived by: her daughter Taghreed Alzaben; her siblings, Alberto Mathias, Fernando (Jody Mathias) and Carla Mathias; her nieces, Adrianna (Filippo Rigaglia), Aryanna Mathias and Valentina Mathias; her nephew Joseph Dekrell Jr.; her great-nephews, Dominic and Nicholas Rigaglia; her aunt Anna; and her uncles, Antonio Goncalves of New Jersey and Domingos Justo of Brazil.
