It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Bogart of Mexico, New York, born in Oswego, New York, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucian Sawyer and Julia Pittsley Sawyer; her husband Morris R. Bogart; her siblings, Julia Syrell, Agnes Davis, Mary Angle, Evelyn Fellows, Lucian and William Sawyer; and her daughter-in-law Tammi Bogart.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnne Barnes (Richard), Karen Baldwin (Robert), James Bogart (Rose), William Bogart and David (Jenn); her sister Barbara Price; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Mahoney. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Shirley's memory by bringing a nonperishable food item to the First United Methodist Church for the Blessing Box or McFee Ambulance Corps.
