She was predeceased by: her parents, Lauriston Lunan and Mildred Lunan; her husband Raymond Cartier; and her siblings, Shirley Carmody, Betty Dora, William and Kenneth Lunan.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Mays (Charles) of Las Vegas, NV, Darlene Campbell (Stephen) of Theresa, NY, Daniel Cartier (Colette) of Mexico, NY, Beverly King (Elmer) of Malone, NY, Shelly Premo (Michael) of Chateauguay, NY, Susan Lang (Steven) of Chateauguay, NY, David Cartier (Judy) of Rouses Point, NY, Cathy Cartier of Shell Beach, CA and Tracey Cartier (Robert Davenport) of Las Vegas, NV; and her brother James Lunan of Austin, TX.. She is also survived by nine children, 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Donations can be made to Hospice of the North Country or Ronald McDonald House.
