It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Kanaley of Mexico, New York, born in Fulton, New York, who passed away on April 27, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leola Kanaley (Eckler) and Edward "Ted" Kanaley; his brothers, Martin Kanaley and Donald Kanaley; and his granddaughter Heather Kanaley.
He is survived by: his wife Regan Kanaley (Kuhn); his children, Shannon Gilliland (Randal) of Volney, Allison Trudell (Bradley) of Mexico, Elizabeth (Paul) and Albert of Glens Falls; his grandchildren, Sean Gilliland (Melanie Tracy), Steven Gilliland (Savannah), Sara Givens (Darren), Cheyenne Trudell, Austin Trudell and Hannah; his stepgrandchildren, Eric Trudell of Buffalo, Katherine Trudell of Buffalo and James Trudell of Buffalo; his great grandchildren, Oakley Givens and Aidan Givens; his brothers, Thomas Kanaley (Louise) of Rochester, NY and Daniel Kanaley of North Syracuse, NY; and also, Stacey Whitcomb (John) of Sterling and Colleen Seymour (Todd) of Sterling. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
