He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Bateman and Bella Lawrence Bateman Sr.; and his wife Charlene. He is survived by: his sons, Edward (Cathy), Daniel (Marlene) and Christopher (Veronica); and his sisters, Dorothy Zufelp (PA) and Carol Cavanaugh (FL). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
