Daniel H. Parker Obituary

Daniel H. Parker, of Mexico NY passed away at home on Tuesday, September 03, 2024 with his family by his side.

A Graveside Service with Navy military honors will take place at Pulaski Village Cemetery, at 12:00PM on Friday, September 27, 2024.

Dan was born in Oswego on July 27, 1951 to the late Raymond and Marion Parker. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1973 and he married Sally Martin in 2001. Daniel was extremely proud of his service in the Navy. He was committed to serving his country, and traveled all over the world doing so. In his later years, he worked as an Electrical Engineer at the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station.

Dan was a true outdoorsman; he loved to spend his free time hunting and fishing. He was also known to have a sweet tooth. You considered yourself lucky if he shared a piece of chocolate from his special drawer. His favorites were Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and M&M's. Most of all, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife; Sally, his children; Colleen (Craig) Parker Bartlett, Janette (Kirk) England, Michael Brooks, Dennis (Lisa) Brooks, John Brooks, Kimberly Brooks, and Charles (Shilo) Beedy, and his siblings; Tom Parker, Ricky Parker, Jean Parker, Joe Parker, Kenny Parker, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Daniel is predeceased by his siblings; Diane Parker and David Parker.
