He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth J. Bartnett (Dickens); and his parents, Michael F. Bartnett II and Anna Marie Bartnett (Murmann). He is survived by: his children, Sharon E. Sutton (Tom) of Honeoye Falls, NY, Shawn G. Bartnett (Judy) of Honeoye Falls, NY, Patricia R Condon (Barry) of Albuquerque, NM and Kathleen J. Shaw (William) of Canandaigua, NY. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 18 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Benincasa House.
