He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lennon and Kathryn Lennon McKenzie; his stepfather Albert McKenzie; his wife Geraldine Mitchell Lennon; and his son Michael J. Lennon.
He is survived by: his children, James P. Lennon (Julia), Kathryn Matthews (Chester), Julie Sheehy (Robert) and Joseph Lennon (Tanya); his grandchildren, Andrew (Abigail), Kevin, Patrick, Kalley (Peter), Sarah, Julia, Steven, Sean, Maeve and Eleanor; his sisters-in-law, Carol Hearley, Elizabeth Corcoran and Louise Stevens (Ed); and his cousins, Barbara Reilly (late Jack), Francis Trombly (Deborah) and Edward Trombly (Janet). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
