She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" Carter of Stillwater; her children, Diane Staples of Stillwater, James Carter Jr. of Stillwater and Wayne Carter (Gwen) of Queensbury; and her sister Judy Asche of Voorheesville. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 niece and 3 nephews.
