Colleen Carnegie Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Colleen Carnegie of Menands, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on October 11, 2021 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald A. and Beverly A. Kayser Handerhan, Sr.; and her brother Michael J. Handerhan (Lori Handerhan). She is survived by: her husband Mark J. Carnegie; her children, Sara K. Slocum (Jonathan) of Mount Pleasant, SC and Jason K. Carnegie of Menands; her grandchildren, Spencer, Simon and Eloise "Ellie" Slocum; her siblings, Donald A. Handerhan, Jr. (Amy) of Menands and Susan E. Handerhan of Menands; and her sibling-in-law Shelly A. Wykes (Mark) of Guilderland. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and her beloved cat.
