It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara L. Freed of Menands, New York, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mae Hai (Doling) of Albany, NY and Joseph Hai of Damascus; her siblings-in-law, Betty and Jerry Davis of Marion; her nephews, W. Keith Davis, Sunny and Shirley Samson of Hong Kong; her daughter-in-law Karen Samson (Bette Coe) of Newtown, PA; and her grandson-in-law Ross.
She is survived by: her children, Marc (Aileen Leventon), David, Jamie (Jeff Brody) and Reuben Samson; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Sarah, Roddy and Nina Freed; her children, Steven, Katie, Emma, Sophie Freed, Mordechai, Malcolm MacWilliams, Shirley, Rebecca, Rachel and Danielle Samson; her niece Bonnie Davis of Voorhees, NJ; and her cousin Amalia Snyderman of Tel Aviv.
