Karen G. Lohnes Obituary

The memory of Karen G. Lohnes of Melrose, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on April 22, 2025 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law John Lohnes (Andrea). She is survived by: her husband Stephen Lohnes; her children, Stephen Lohnes, Jr. (Susan), Christopher M. Lohnes (Sabrina) of Evan, J. P and Evangeline E. L. Lohnes; her siblings-in-law, Paul Lohnes (Elizabeth), David Lohnes, Joseph Lohnes and Rebecca Lohnes; and her grandchildren, Ayden Lohnes, Kahne Lohnes, Sarah Mosher and Jessica Pimental. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. (165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gerald Bh Solomon Cemetery.
